Sun

Yes - I saw blue skies yesterday!

My retinas were scorched, not by the blinding glare of the sun, but by the acres of porridgey flesh on display, as many Aucklanders hit the streets in t-shirts and (in most cases, inadvisably) shorts.

P.S. Advice to all - when consulting with one's doctor, have discovered it's not advisable to ask if he can prescribe an alternative to BZP. Perhaps also, should not have referred to Slimfast as one's "happy pills." I got a half-hour grilling, and a referral to a psychiatrist.

P.P.S. Anyone know if Ritalin is any good?

i was misprescribed it when ADD was the disorder dujour... and instead of weird looks for my behaviour, i was the class anorexic. 26kgs, and my mother, in desperation, started force feeding me chocolate. sound like what you're after?

I have a friend who seriously loved Ritalin, used recreationally and just a tad illegally. Great body, and she'd popped out four kiddies. But when she was on it she looked like pure underclass shit.

"Ritalin is easy, Ritalin is good," sang Dave Grohl in "This is a Call", the Foo Fighters' very first single.

just go the gin on your cornies followed by voltarin - once the stomach ulcers kick in you'll keep weight off like nobodies biziness. Watch for the processed blood in your stools dear.

Don't ask me. The chemists refuse to sell me anything.

Hell's teeth George - isn't Nilverm used to drench sheep?!?!!

Mike, Anonymous #1, Klake - alright. Three thumbs up, then.

Jan - I think George is archly referring to the fact that BZP started off life as a cattle wormer. But "so what", say I. Aspirin started off as tree bark, but still has other uses apart from clothing trees.

Anonymous #2 - nice to have you back. It's reassuring to know there are others around who need a psychiatrist more than I do.

Nilverm - I need to know if you're serious, and if so where to get it from - Wedding in January!! Need all the help I can get!!

Not serious. But consult your local vet. They have remedies for most eventualities associated with your January appointment from horse tranqullisers through to treatments for sore udders.
